Lions, Tigers and Bear Creek - Level 2

Up down, zoom, zoom, wheeeeee.  That's what it'll sound like Thursday night.  Just a warning - wheels-down at 6:15!

Come out for a fun ride at Bear Creek.  We'll ride an easy pace and split into two groups if necessary.  Mosquito repellent is highly recommended, unless you want to be a donor.

Level 2 rides are designed for med-beginners who are getting comfortable riding dirt, can make some obstacles and are starting to look at the trail critically for the best lines. Compared with other trails, this rates very low on the technical scale and we'll tailor the route to the participant's ability.

All riders must be members (it's a liability thing)---want to bring a friend, have them register, it's free! If this is your first time riding with LMB, please review our assumption of risks/waiver of liability.

A bit windy but otherwise great weather and a great group! Everyone rode the first mile or two together into the park, then a group of six level 3-4 riders split off to add the North Park section & Mt. Carbon climb, then met back up with all the level 2 folks back at the parking lot to head out for some beers and food. This seemed to work pretty well, any thoughts about doing two levels (separate meet-ups?) at the same time/place for more of the rides? This would actually allow more people to attend since we reached the 15 max number of riders signed-up earlier in the week...

Darn, I left too soon, didn't know that people were going out for food and beer!

It seems like all that would require is for a second leader to post another ride that meets at the same time and place but with a different level.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
