The Reconnaissance ride has been completed & now it's time to get back up & ride....Here is a link of the trail system & associated highways, click on Map for better detail:
I usually drive up Hy 72, Coal creek Canyon, to HY 119 turning Right heading North towards Nederland. About 1.5 miles there is a trail head on the left for the West Mag Trails. Look for the Yellow Mustang.
If you like good dirt and good people, this is the group for you. We're about having fun while riding mountain bikes. We love to ride, and we love getting others out riding. That's why many of our rides are geared towards beginner and intermediate riders. Don't let that fool you though, we have rides for all skill levels. What this group brings to the table more than anything is a laid back vibe with a no drop attitude. This is very much a social riding group. If you're into tracking your cadence and getting in hot laps on the local trails, then you'll probably want to look elsewhere. We ride all over the Front Range of Colorado, with occasional jaunts a bit further out. Our most frequented areas include Jefferson County (JeffCo), Boulder County, and Buffalo Creek. We'll also take a few big multi-day trips per year to other riding hot spots in and out of state.
We offer multiple levels of rides to accommodate riders of all physical and technical ability levels. All of our rides will have a level designation to help you find a ride that's right for you. Please take a minute to read the LMB rules and difficulty descriptions before signing up for a ride. These can be found in our discussion forums here. Welcome to LMB. I look forward to seeing you out on the trails. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
