Centennial Cone - Level 4 Tech/Level 4 Pace

We'll do the Centennial Cone trail in clockwise direction, starting from the west trailhead on Douglas Mtn Drive. The loop is approximately 13.5 miles. We'll be on a combination of rolling double track, climbing several hills, some intermediate technical spots and a very sweet downhill. We'll meet at the trailhead at 5:30 and be ready to ride at 5:45. I'm planning to start earlier from the Mayhem Gulch trailhead at 5PM and meet the group at the upper lot. Feel free to join me if you can get there early. Bring a light or headlamp if you decide to join me for the longer ride. It will be about 18 miles total and sometime it's after dusk when we ride down the Mayhem Gulch trail.  Sunset is at 8:05

Make sure your bike is in a good working order. Wearing a helmet is required. Bring plenty of water, extra tube, rain jacket, sun block and bug spray. Few other highly recommended items to have in your bag on any mtb ride are: pump/CO2, multi-tool, chain-tool, power-link. http://www.meetup.com/Lakewood-Mountain-Biking/messages/boards/thread/7876647?thread=7876647

We had a nice evening for a ride. Just a small group tonight, but the trails were in good shape and the weather was perfect

You should be fine. The first few miles of the trail are gentle double track so it's easily to make up time. I'll send the group ahead and make sure you get started on Elk Ridge.
