I have been reevaluating this, I broke my back in August of 2013, I am back on the bike, my endurance has improved but I am still working through knee, ankle and torn hamstring issues from the accident. I am definitely gaining strenght/power back. I pretty much have to ride consistently with no stopping or my knees hurt too much. I am probably about a 6-7 now. Climbing I am still a little slow but very steady and keep rolling.

Anywhere with dirt, trees, trails, views, hills, etc. Always an adventure.
300+ so far. Need the weather to cooperate! I also ride the road bike as cross training
love being outdoors, riding up and down mountains on the road, or on a mountain bike and playing in the snow!
