LL is open to a wide range of topics. What languages, paradigms, or topics interest you most?

In school, I learned a bit of SML and really liked it. The thing that really caught my attention was pattern-matching. Although I have no attachment to keeping it pure, I think that there is something really elegant about functional programming.

LL is about discussion of interesting ideas. What are some topics you'd be willing to present on which you think would be of interest to the group?

What languages do you have the most experience with in a professional setting?

C++, Python, and java

I have a BS in Computer Science, and love learning about programming. My recent work experience hasn't involved as much programming, but I love learning about it and starting side projects.
