LL is open to a wide range of topics. What languages, paradigms, or topics interest you most?

Functional Programming, reactive programming, CSP. I would like to use LLU to explore different paradigms in various languages.

LL is about discussion of interesting ideas. What are some topics you'd be willing to present on which you think would be of interest to the group?

I've been using Clojure professionally since 2010 so I know it and the surrounding ecosystem enough to present on anything that would be of interest to people. I recently started working with core.async at work and am interested in having a LL all about CSP and contrasting various implementations (e.g. Go) I've been using Rx from C# for the past year and have dabbled with RxJava so I could contribute to a session about FRP as well.

What languages do you have the most experience with in a professional setting?

Clojure, Ruby, Java, C++

I have too many interests. Starting Lambda Lounge Utah is my selfish attempt to create a group that can help me learn more about all of my CS related ones at an accelerated rate by learning from others. :) Find me online as @bmabey.
