LL is open to a wide range of topics. What languages, paradigms, or topics interest you most?

Scala, Haskell, and even Python. I like Scala cause it's a mix of OO and FP which puts an interesting twist on things.

LL is about discussion of interesting ideas. What are some topics you'd be willing to present on which you think would be of interest to the group?

I rewrote a huge part of our companies backbone in a FP language (Scala) with 100% immutable vars and datatypes to better Scale our application during insane jumps in business that we get over the holidays. I enjoy discussing how FP and Immutable data types helped making our application be better multi-threaded across several servers.

What languages do you have the most experience with in a professional setting?

Scala, Python, Java, and C

Introduction

Big advocate of Lambda languages and have been using functional programming concepts with Python and Scala for last 4 years and want to go further with my knowledge in other fp languages like Haskell.
