Tomáš Petříček: Data science with F#

To understand data, you need to acquire interesting data, analyze it and visualize your results using charts. In this talk, we’ll look how F# makes these three tasks easy. We’ll look how to access data using F# type providers [1], how to explore data in REPL using Deedle [2] and calculate statistics & visualize the results using the R type provider [3] which integrates F# with statistical environment R.

Simply perfect for c#ist. Both me and my colleagues very impressed by the F# capabilities. Will start to learn it soon :-)

I am sorry for "last minute" meetup. Tomáš is in Prague only for few days and Monday evening was the only possible date for a talk. I will announce the place once it is confirmed (unfortunately Node5 meeting room is not available this time).

I am looking forward very interesting talk.
