Carol and I plan on being at the meetup. I hope to have a new song ready to perform. At the very least, I want to do my composition, "Harmony". I am close to finishing my new song, and will post it if I am done. Looking forward to singing and playing with my fellow singers and songwriters.

This was a wonderful evening of singing and playing. Although the acoustics of the room are not great, we still sounded fantastic. I look forward to a long, enjoyable future with LAMP!

But that means you have to be a comcast customer, doesn't it? Do they have wifi as well, do you know? I will also bring my projector as an alternative. Great, if there is a wall to project on.

Will the key the songs will be played in noted in the file?

    January 18, 2013

    • Mike H.

Skye, the songs have the chords on the page located above the lyrics at the approximate location. The key can easily be determined.

I will be bringing both my 6 and 12 sting guitars. Also a tambourine, cowbell, kazoo, and a partridge in a pear tree. Oh, and my girl, Carol, too!

Don't know what kind of music we'll be playing, so don't know if the autoharp would be a good instrument or if I should bring the guitar or uke..

    January 16, 2013

    • Mike H.

Nancy, Why don't you bring a guitar or Uke for the first meetup and see from there.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
