I play acoustic guitar and am on a learning curve that is as steep as the frequency I play with others. Interested in Irish, folk and acoustic pop music mostly. Nancy told me I should check this out so here goes.
Milen put something up on the discussion board about a Guzzi in one of the photo albums. Can you help him out?
It seems to be working good,but I have to put Heavier oil in my forks,she dives a little.
Thanks. That's a 1967 Norton Atlas 750. Completely original. I am the second owner and I've ridden this machine all over the mid-Atlantic & north-east, including a trip into Ontario. It's never left me on the road. Very powerful and comfortable on a trip. I've added a period-correct tail truck since this photo was taken.
That machine in my photo is a 1967 Norton Atlas. 750cc engine in the Norton featherbed frame and, as you said, very ridable. I have had my Atlas on several 1,000+ mile trips and even to Ontario the summer before last. Quite nice on the road. Regards;
Thanks man! I just did 180miles last weekend. Rode to Hawk Mountain and around Berks, Monto, and Lehigh counties. Boy, I was sore afterward!
I'd actually be more than happy to meet up after the ride, since the only other thing I have that runs currently is my car.
