The Pagoda, located atop Mt. Penn is a historical landmark that has served as a shining beacon for Greater Reading for more than 100 years. It is owned, loved and cared for by the city and citizens of Reading, Pennsylvania. Visitors from around the world come to see the Pagoda. This out-of-place and yet extraordinary building has an unforgettable view and is a comforting sight for many, especially the red glow of lights at night.
To generations of residents, the Pagoda is a sure sign of home.
We will leave from Charlie's Fuel and Deli at 1634 WEST MAIN STREET, Ephrata, PA 17522 at 6:30 pm. We will stop and meet with others at Paolo's Family Restaurant at 2480 Lancaster Pike, Reading, PA 19607 and leave at 7:15pm. From there, onward to the Pagoda. We should arrive shortly before 8pm. I don't know how long we will stay at the Pagoda, but when everyone is finished oohing and aweing, we will head to Johnny & Hon's in Robesonia for food and talk. Here is a link for the route from Charlie's to Paolo's.
More details to follow. I just wanted to get this posted as early as possible.
As soon as I receive feedback regarding a date to schedule the ride, I will update this post.
