LAND OPS 2013 BRIEFING AND LUNCH BUFFET
Chris and Edith Doering invite you to own home office & conference area.
Saturday January 5th,[masked]:00 AM
Land Ops continues to take shape as a unique adventure group that combines overland exploration, navigation exercises and radio communications. After over three years of conducting nav-comm games we're still developing our unique style and capabilities.
We will be introducing and discussing some new items in our event itineraries, including GPS training time (when and where) (possible videos demonstrating the basic principles and functions of gps usage)...to watch prior to event, (on-site) GPS training time for those who need it only, more in-depth informational handouts prior to the start of each game, pre-game huddles with designated team leaders, standardized over-watch procedures and responsibilities, the Land Ops communication plan for each event and preparation for incorporating emergency response procedures (both radio and logistical aspects).
Organizers, Operators and New Members attending will get a special sneak preview at the new Land Ops video being released for 2013. Land Ops Volume 2 (Yet to be titled)
We'll be feeding you a great lunch, discussing the upcoming Land Ops trips and showing the sneak preview of the newest video. Q&A for new members as always!! Members who have a heart to share a dish, bring a delicious treat. Contributions like this are always welcome.
We've got a decent sized area with which to meet, but perhaps we'd best keep the attendance under 25. We'll post 30 available spots (overbook by 5). RSVP early if you're planning to come.
If you can't make it for any reason, change your status to "NOT GOING" right away to make room for others. As always there is no fees for attending, but there is a $978 fine for canceling the week before the briefing.
