Very few successful photographs have incorrect exposures, and yet it’s one of the most difficult things for photographers to understand and control. It’s essential to not only understand how to achieve proper exposure, but to do so consistently.
The quality of color, tonality sharpness and much more are all connected to exposure. By missing the mark means sacrificing color, tonality, sharpness and more.
But there is no correct and incorrect creative exposure when it comes to the individual photographic goals. However, in order to understand and master the exposure that you so desire, you must achieve the correct exposure as it relates to the limitations of the equipment you're working with, and then moving up or down in exposure compensation to achieve your desired creative exposure.
Too frequently do photographers miss the mark by not understanding what actions to take in order to get the proper exposure.
This workshop is a comprehensive introduction to the world of exposure and getting images right in-camera.
