Summer Solstice Jazz Festival

he Summer Solstice Jazz Festival cordially invites you to participate in the event’s first-ever Second Line Parade!
Featuring Chicago’s Lowdown Brass Band, the parade steps off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. It starts at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum and ends at Ann Street Plaza.
The second line is a New Orleans tradition where groups follow the grand marshal and brass band—dancing, twirling parasols, waving handkerchiefs and handing out beads. It’s all about having a great time and being seen!
Come early for the Kozmic Picnik featuring Planet D Nonet’s Sun Ra tribute!
(1 p.m. in the Broad sculpture garden.)

I am here, at Tiki bar, arrived late. I'm upstairs in AZTECA BAR. Listening to some jazz studs.

Last years was awesome. Can't wait. Longest day of the year. Fill it up with America's greatest cultural export -- jazz.
