The Lansing Area Ruby Meetup

  • Jun 10, 2014 · 6:45 PM
  • The Technology Innovation Center

It's time for the June Ruby Meetup! We have some awesome talks scheduled:

Hello, SOA World - Grayson Wright

The newest trend in high-volume web applications is Service-Oriented Architecture. In this live-coding talk, we'll explore this new technique by building a lightweight logging service to improve how we capture information from our Rails apps. The code we write will get our feet wet with non-Rails webapps, NoSQL databases, and inter-process communication. Best of all, we'll learn how to extract smaller services out of our monolithic apps.
