I have finished one contemporary romance ( I use the idea of romance very loosely). I am about 2/3 done with the second. I am also painfully working my way through a memoir of my twisted broken childhood. Along with the typical writer stuff I have some short children's stories and a blushingly lovely collection of erotica. As of now I am trying to round myself out and then make the step toward publishing. I write and am determined to earn my blessed R and be a writer.
I am a bit all over the place. I find myself choking on words and have to get them out before they eat me alive. I hate to trap myself in a specific genre.
I am forward, tragically funny. Sacrilegiously sacred. I am full of far too many holes to ever be holy, yet I am marginally obsessed with religious allegory. What I can't stuff full with books, I fill with music.
Drake was very informative, witty and charming. He openly drops his knowledge and experience at your feet. I loved that it was more of an open conversation than a lecture. Although the room was full of others Drake managed to make it feel like a sit down with an old wise friend(ego boost, your welcome and deserving). It felt like a safe place to open up and voice your own ideas and questions without feeling vulnerable nor judged. I adored that Drake was able to easily transition, go with the flow and even engage in some bits of banter that kept the meet up alive. Thank you kindly for your time, tolerance and wisdom. You would definitely be the good twin.
