This was an excellent event that got me looking into WebSockets and gave me enough knowledge to start exploring Node.js. Thanks for posting!

Very interesting event. Even tho I'm not at the point of coding again (been a fish outta water for 10+ years), I understand the concepts. Glad I attended.

This boot camp was great! I enjoy highly technical events.

It really got rolling with the live coding: all meat and no fat. A great interactive demo was coded live that we could all experiment with once pushed to Azure and GitHub.

    Hi all:
I'm gonna be rolling in at about 9am because I ate a lot earlier and I have a long way to travel--hope that's okay, as I'm still coming.

Some of you haven't RSVP'd via Eventbrite, so you won't have received Steve Seow's message:

    Hey all,

Thanks for signing up for the event!

We've done this in many cities (Silicon Valley, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Denver, ...) and this is the first time we're coming to Vegas!!!

I'll be sending out another email next week that will help you get your laptop (Mac or PC - Yep, that's right: Mac J) ready for node.js development. In the meantime, I have a favor to ask: If you help me tweet or promote the event to your network, that would be super!

    You can use the following:

Free #node.js boot camp in Las Vegas Sat 15. Rsvp here: @SteveSeow

    Look forward to meeting everyone!!!

    Steve Seow

P.S. Oh, if anyone has any suggestion on where we can get fantastic lunch catered, please ping me!

I just suggested "Baguette Cafe", somewhat nearby. Mr Seow said he'd consider it.

I would send a message to the organizer, Steve Seow, which you can do via a link in the bottom right hand corner of the Eventbrite page for this event.
