please introduce yourself; where are you from, what are your interests?

A recent transplant from an entire life in Chicago , my husband. parents and son moved west. Our son in his first year of college in Utah pursuing a business degree. We and an awesome cat name "Walter". We run our own biz and have been doing so for 20 years. I love to try new things, am an avid world traveler and a beader(necklaces and earrings) that uses stuff I find in my travels.

can you suggest any books that would make an interesting discussion

I have recently started reading and re-reading from the 100 best novels list. Just finished "Sister Carrie" by Theodore Dreiser and it is just as pertinent today as when it was published in 1900 and draws some interesting parallels to our current society and change into a new century.

I love to read and more importantly to discuss what I read and how it impacts me and the world around me.
