Meet and Greet~~ Last Friday in April

This appears to be a popular event. I will have it as a regular happening
If you are new, get there early and sit at one of the large tables and let the party come to you. ADMISSION $1.00 EACH. Sign in at the head table to pay your admission and to get a name tag. The piano player is there for our entertainment.
Ichabods is an upscale dining establishment. I will reserve the entire piano bar room, just for our group
Look at this group as an alternative to dating sites. Multiple tables to choose from to get to meet some new friends. The admission fee is to reimburse the organizer for the costs to operate this group. Ichabods is at the corner of Flamingo Rd and Pecos, in the rear parking area next to Food 4 Less.

I forgot to call ahead. I thought this was like a bar/lounge, not a regular restaurant. i didn't think there would be any issues. It was my first time in there

THis was good for a first event. I forgot to call ahead as i was busy with other things this week We tossed a few ideas around and will be adding them to the calendar. i got there at 6:02 and told the manager about the meeting. We got a banquet table in the piano area andhad some good chat

I don't know what went wrong. Your invitation said if you're new get there early, I got there at 6:00pm. I spoke with the hostess, Jimmy the bartender and a young lady who said she always serves the group. Nobody knew anything about a group meeting there tonight. They told me that the group always meet on Monday Night. I waited until 6:30pm and then I left. I was extremely dissapointed.

Why not use this to discuss future events, as mentioned in the various emails floating around the group? IT should give us a relaxed opportunity to "meet and greet" as it says, and can foster discussion!
