I was still fighting the flu and regretfully couldn't attend. I still hope to purchase the book next time.

Great meeting. I've been going to meetingw for 2 years and am kind of shy when it comes to meeting people, but this meeting I got to meet 4 new people and it was so easy and really delightful. The speaker was super too and thanks Lynsee (sp??) for arranging the speakers. You always do such a good job and just wanted to let you know your effort is appreciated!

Lee Anne Krusemark offered some very helpful suggestions on how to obtain publishing credentials, so that when an author queries, he/she can say "I am a published writer." I hope she will return at some future date to give us further tips on getting published.

I appreciated the opportunity to speak to the group. It's obvious this is a serious writer's group. I look forward to speaking again sometime in the future. :-)

A perfect lecture by featured speaker Lee Anne Krusemark: limited subject to fit in the allotted time; informative, concise presentation; apropos examples; succinct Q&As. Obviously, an experienced instructor and lecturer.

I'm giving this particular meeting and speaker a "Five Star" evaluation.
Ann Krusemark gave us really good writing tips and a few engaging samples of her on-line writing course.
A wide-ranging bounty of good writing information.

LeeAnne Krusemark was an excellent speaker, full of good advice presented in a no-nonsense way. I agree, beware the self-publishing trap.

This speaker was clearly very good at what she does and she provided a lot of useful information on how to present information to publishers and agents in the best possible way. I found it extremely interesting that last month's speaker was very pro indie-pub and this month's speaker, though not against it, was very adamant about making sure people know that if you want to make money at it, it's very difficult and time consuming to do.

Ah Spring! When a middle-aged couple's thoughts turn to groping at the front of the room. There was a speaker as well.

Good general information but the room was warm and noisy this time

LeeAnn will have available for a discounted purchase price of $25 the printed version of A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO GETTING PUBLISHED, the online publishing course that she authored and now teaches at more than 1,000 facilities worldwide, including Harvard. It's word for word the entire 12-week course (which usually retails online for $89-$149), including all the supplemental links, assignments, and resources.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
