Total Distance: 4 miles round trip
Total Elevation Gain: 1,600'
Altitude: 2,300' - 3,700'
Terrain Description: trail, class 3 scrambling
Approximate Hiking Time: about 6 hours

This is going to be a beginners hike and kid friendly because it will be at the pace of my 6.5-year old son. He is strong and excited to put his name in another registry. The trail has a class 3 section about 20 to 30 feet. The rest is trail with steep sections and loose rock. We'll be travelling at a slow pace due to the steepness.

We need several high-clearance vehicles for the hike. 4WD is preferable (but not required) considering the unknown condition of the Kingman Wash dirt road for 6 miles gaining 1,000 feet in elevation. The road starts two miles past the Hoover Dam bridge on Hwy 93. The hike offers amazing views of the surrounding area.

Please remember to answer the questions after RSVPing. If you are using a phone, the questions will not appear. Therefore, please check back again to answer the questions.

To participate in this outing, you must be a current, paid member of LVMC. You can obtain a membership via this link: http://www.lvmc.org/w.... The fee is $40 per year for a family/roommates or $30 per year for an individual. Please contact your organizer if you have any questions.

If you don't answer the three RSVP questions and you are not listed on the LVMC member roles by one week before the trip, I will remove you from the trip without notice. If you are new to the group and want to try us out without being a member, please email me and describe your experience for permission on a case-by-case basis.

Great weather. Great scenery. Kenny did a lot better and travelled a lot faster than I anticipated.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
