Hi Everyone!

Thank you for all who come out, and welcome to you if this will be your first time. Without you, none of this is possible, you are greatly appreciated!

Together we are making a difference in 100's of people's lives! Come and be a part of changing and saving lives. This is a co-ed, crossover event, please feel free to bring your children 13 and over.

The goal for this month is 300 sandwiches, 400 bottles of water, 300 hygiene kits, and 300 pairs of men's new underwear and socks. We also do a clothing giveaway so if you have any unwanted men's clothing, sleeping bags, blankets, etc, please feel free to bring them.

We will be meeting at Las Vegas Rescue Mission at 3:30pm to prepare the sandwiches in their kitchen.

We will be preparing for the items inside the kitchen, however, between 5 and 6pm we will be outside doing the giveaway. Dress appropriately. There are times when we are asked to help serve the meal inside, if this appeals to you, please make sure you have with you, short sleeve shirt, long pants, and closed toe shoes.

Here's what we will need to make the day a success:

For the sandwiches:

All of our bread is now being donated! We can use those resources for other things!

If it is not too hot, under 80 degrees please feel free to bring, ham, cheese, and turkey. When it is over 80 degrees we provide peanut butter and jelly.

For the hygiene Kits:

We generally bring items to assemble the kits together. Items needed for kits are:

Men's Razors-can never have enough, a huge demand

Men's new underwear (S,M mostly) and socks- Socks are one of the most requested item

Men's deodorant

Lip-balm or Chapstick

Sunscreen- especially needed in Summer months

travel size soap
travel size shampoo
travel size lotion- heavily requested
travel size toothpaste/ toothbrush

note letting the people someone cares about them:-) - Really important!

Please let me know in your RSVP what you are bringing so we do not end up with 50 jars of jelly:-)

Some great places are CVS they are having sales on travel size toiletries, 99. cents store on flamingo and maryland 4-$1 shampoos, conditioners and body wash.

If you are not able to attend and you would like to donate please call me and I can come and pick up at your home/office or meet you.

A great place to get stuff is at the dollar tree they have fabulous deals!

Anything is a huge blessing!! Thank you so much and I look forward to meeting you!

Thank you for all who came out.

Someone by mistake took one of the plastic containers that had the hygiene kits inside. If you know who this was please have them take it back to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission ASAP! This was not ours it belongs to the mission so it needs to be returned immediately.

We are in desperate need of new men's socks, travel size toiletries such as toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner and toothbrushes. In ADDITION, to the hygiene items please bring at least 1 non-perishable item to help with the Rescue Missions food drive.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
