Late Night Thinkers Of WNY (Buffalo/Niagara Falls)

Currently Seeking: New group organizers for all topics.
This is a group for people who find them self thinking about why the world is the way that it is, why people are the way that they are, and why an egg salad sandwich is an acquired taste. :) The extent of topics that this group is concerned with is not limited to philosophical ones. Also topics such as the interpretation and evaluation of painting, photography, music, writing, and things of a more subjective nature can also be discussed so long as all meet ups are open to both the experts and layman. As for the more objective topics I think it might be interesting if some groups utilize surveys and a certain degree of methodology in the pursuit of gathering knowledge. So in that sense it doesn’t need to be maybe a meet up of 5 or 6 people with only their own perspectives when some fact checking could add dimension to conversation. Even things like the supernatural or conversation about the local community could make for good topics groups.

At this time I am looking both for people who would like to attend meet ups and people who would like to organize meet ups. I don’t mind if for a time I have more organizers than people to attend groups. I just want this group to be a community of people that motivate other people to think and discuss their points of view on every conceivable subject. At the bottom of this page I have listed topics that I am seeking organizers to plan meet ups for. I don’t mind if multiple people create groups on a common topic. A little competition never hurts. :) And I am open to new ideas for meet ups. Just feel free to drop me a message and I might approve your topic of interest and make you an organizer for discussing it.

This group is not strictly a discussion group. It should also be a means of meeting new and interesting people, and starting friendships. Most meet ups scheduled by me will be social get-togethers. I might schedule a meet up just for a casual dining meet. Nothing special. Just a group of night owls hanging out. :) I also thought it might be fun to put together a couple bowling teams, assuming the sport is still booming. :)

I have no restrictions towards those that join so long as they are respectful of other people and their points of view. I would however like as much diversity among joiners as possible. And anyone who cannot get along with other members maybe ejected.
