'Latina's on the Move" is a meetup exclusively for women, where unique and passionate Latinas can come together, share their interests, network, celebrate, have fun, and enjoy all the aspects of what makes us phenomenal women! I decided to create this group after returning back to my native New York and feeling like I had a huge gap to fill. I felt like I knew no one in this big City! Where were my ladies at?! Weekend after weekend, I found myself staying home and not taking advantage of what our amazing City has to offer. Day after day, riding the subway or walking down the street, I realized that we're everywhere! And the probability that there are hundreds of like minded, smart, professional, and culturally passionate Latinas out there just like me, was huge, so..."why don't I know more of these women?!" WHO SHOULD JOIN? 20 to 30 something's, Latina Women who live, work, or play in the City and are hoping to get to know and network with other like minded Latinas. PURPOSE OF THE GROUP: To create a dynamic online space for sharing and relationship building. Just in time for Spring and Summer, let's attempt to meetup live and in person once-a-month at museums, cultural events, cool restaurants, or a good ol' happy hour. We decide!
