Laughing Buddha Zen (LBZ) trains you to use Zen Koans to enhance your spiritual practice – whether your practice is Buddhist or not. It focuses on using koans in dealing with stresses from family, work, and other relationships – from love relationships to our relations with society and the environment. LBZ uses relaxed forms of the Zen tradition, but does not require a commitment to that tradition or to the Koan Practice Trainer. The Trainer acts as a facilitator in a peer process in which the koan itself does the training. A small-group setting encourages collaborative discussions in a supportive atmosphere. Both humor and the honest expression of emotional challenges are welcomed. See LaughingBuddhaZen.org for more information.
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
