This program will be a discussion about handling New York State sales and use tax audits conducted by the New York State Department of Taxation & Finance which have the potential to lead to an increase in gross revenue. We will discuss what to do and what not to do. Additionally, since proper record keeping can help prevent many of the problems associated with these audits, part of the discussion will be on record keeping. Lastly, the final minutes of the program will be devoted to questions from the audience.
