Legal Design Jam

Come to our Legal Design Jam, with lawyers, designers & coders.

We will spend the afternoon in San Francisco  making a legal document -- in this case the Wikimedia Foundation's trademark policy -- more visual & usable!

This will be Day 2 of the Jam (Day 1 is already over-subscribed, and is being held at Stanford d.school).  We extended it to Day 2 because the amount of interest was so substantial -- and so we can get more work done!

I am a bit perplexed. Praticing 40 years - transactions and litigations - IT cannot be avoided, and I would not want to avoid it, but, yet, I do not know what this meet up is about.

    Help this poor practicing lawyer.

So, let me start a bit here. I designed my own way of practicing law and have been at it for 40 years now. What is the meaning of Legal Design? Frankly, all you must do to see how law practice may be designed anew is to imagine how practice was before it became dominated by "the firm". In addition current legal education, dominated as it is by the ABA accredited law schools, is no service to the community or to the profession.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
