The Art of Deliberate Creation - Thursdays

As if there isn't enough to say on this heady topic already, I keep thinking of more stuff to talk about! Or totally new angles on topics I covered before. Come join us, you're likely to find some insights and food for thought. Some days there's lots of discussion and sometimes people just want to hear what I have to say. I play it by ear, and without fail, whatever topics I pick to talk about are the ones people needed to explore that day. Ah, life in harmony!

Based on the ideas knocking around in my head lately, here are some topics that I expect to end up covering through June and into July:

Action - different ways that our actions fit into the whole picture of creating results via our thoughts/energy, sorting out apparent contradictions in our thinking about cause and effect (this subject can be the root of a TONNE of overlooked, limiting beliefs)

Sorting Mixed Emotions - Yes, our "Emotional Guidance System" (the term is from Abraham-Hicks, for those unfamiliar with the material) is a 100% reliable indicator of whether we're headed towards our desires or fighting against them, BUT what if you feel mixed emotions? What the heck does that mean? And what if you've got buried emotions and if you did how would you know? The simple game of "hot" or "cold" can actually take some practice. Insights and simple exercises to sort through the quagmire.

Embracing the journey -- Ugh! Who wants patience? Can't I just get what I want right now?!" Wanting it now can be agonizing and worse, keep great things from ever happening. But "patience" isn't really the answer either. I'm sure it'll pop up in our meetups, not a main topic but the subject of a few asides.

"Oh but I already know that" -- how seeing yourself as having all the answers can turn your strength into a weakness. I've mentioned this before but have reflected on it more and want to expand on it. As a natural know-it-all it's a lesson I've had to learn more than once! jk. But seriously, having a perpetual student attitude can open a tonne of doors to joy and expansion.

There's other stuff I could mention but I doubt the people who need to hear it will realize they needed to hear it until they hear it. So I won't mention it now. :)

Big hugs to you all, and I hope to see you there!

I'm so sorry. I'm still at work, trying to beat a deadline and I will surely miss this by the time I'm finished.
