The League City / Clear Lake City / Galveston area Raw Vegan Potluck Meetup Group provides a welcome space for raw foodists, raw vegans, yogis, and all who desire a more healthful way of eating and living.

We embrace joyful living, conscious language, and the deliciousness of food in its whole, natural state.

Looking for a raw food place to “eat out?” Looking for support, and the company of like-minded people who cultivate the raw food lifestyle? Looking to learn more about raw food?

We are currently meeting in Houston with the Taft Street Raw Vegan Potluck Meetup Group on the 2nd Wednesday, and the 4th Thursday of each month.  The potluck location is 2115 Taft Street, Houston Texas.

What to bring:


* Bring your own lovingly prepared raw dish. If you're new to raw food, a bowl of cut up fruit or a green salad without dressing is fine.


* Bring your own plate, cup, fork, spoon, or chopsticks, and eating and serving utensils (to minimize trash and stay green).


* Please bring your recipe (so we can share them on the website) with the complete list of ingredients for those with allergies.


* Bring your relaxed self (and possibly a friend or two) and be ready to share, and enjoy vibrant, delicious food! Well-behaved, closely supervised children are also welcome.


* Musical instruments are encouraged.

Share your ideas and recipes while enjoying mouth-watering, palate titillating dishes, and people on the same wave length. You will enjoy the support of the entire raw community.  You will meet and congregate with some of the most interesting people on earth!

What does raw vegan food entail? Raw foods are foods that are prepared with minimal processing and or dehydrated at temperatures below 105 degrees Fahrenheit. (105—still alive!) Drying foods at these low temperatures approximates the natural process of sun-drying, and in turn leaves the food bursting forth with enzymes, nutrients, and vitamins still intact.

We explore the varying aspects of this lifestyle through thoughtful discussions and personal interactions at the pot luck. We also learn by viewing cutting edge videos and raw-based movies, and through celebrity guest speakers who visit our pot luck from time to time.
