We welcome you to join us either by car or air. Fly-in visitors, car club drivers and museum members get free admission!

Wings & Wheels ticket price includes: static aircraft tours, special programs in the Starliner Theater, museum tours, and admission to the museum.

We open up our ramp on the west side of Hobby airport and let you get close to the action of a real airport!

The building had a great art deco style. It was worth $7.00, but I'm glad I did not pay more. I was expecting antique planes and cars, but there were none. I'm not sure why the call it wings and wheels... We're they in a different building?

Thanks Curt! I'm afraid if I go I may want to purchase a Stearman that's on my bucket list! I'll try and swing by, do you plan to be there the entire time?

The weather prevented aircraft and car displays. The museum stands on its own as an outstanding bit of Houston history.

Joe, I led two tour groups down to the hangar, where we have a few planes in storage. I looked for you as we headed out, but I think you had already left.

After listening to the news predicting 100% rain and strong storms starting during the night and continuing until late afternoon Sat., I think I will pass on attempting to drive in for the meet-up.

Dianna, I think I may do the same. Thanks for notifying the group.

Actually, the museum is open every day, but they have a Wings & Wheels event on the third Saturday of every month. The building itself is quite interesting, with its art deco architecture and exhibits of now extinct airlines that once served Hobby Airport. It's definitely worth a visit.
