Los Angeles chapter of LOPSA (League of Professional System Administrators) exists to: - Provide a social forum for Sys Admins via the monthly UUASC-LA meeting (http://uuasc.org/la/) consisting of a technical presentation and dinner. To contribute speakers to UUASC-LA. - Provide a social forum for professional Sys Admins via the occasional LOPSA-LA meeting consisting of a technical presentation and dinner. - Help educate the community in the practice of system administration through support of LOPSA University and at the SCaLE conference (www.socallinuxexpo.org). - Help expand LOPSA membership through grassroots outreach and by staffing the LOPSA booth at SCaLE. - Provide a forum for local system administrators through the LOPSA-hosted mailing list at https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/lopsa-us-...
