Non-fiction - 'Belching Out The Devil' by Mark Thomas

Our non-fiction book for discussion in March will be 'Belching out the Devil; Global adventures with Coca Cola' which was nominated by me. February's discussion of "Banana" wasn’t our most free flowing but was an interesting read and a great nomination by Neil. We have a growing list of nominations for future consideration;

'Chavs; The Demonization of The Working Class' by Owen Jones
'The Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle
‘The art of Happiness’ by The Dalai Lama
‘Mauve’ by Simon Garfield
'The Long Walk to Freedom' by Nelson Mandela
‘Home’ by Bill Bryson

We may return to these titles in the future.

Mr Thomas tells you about the book here

You may also like to know that he will be coming to Leamington soon!!

We'll be in the private bar which is on the left hand side if you enter The White Horse from the street.
We'll gather from 7.30 onwards and discuss the book from 8.
If you have a book you'd like to nominate for March you can do so before the discussion next time or add it as a comment on here

    Guys, can I ask, if possible, if you can confirm your attendance tonight - with such small numbers we don't want to leave anyone stranded.

    Sorry, I'm working in London on Thursday and won't be able to make it back on time. Shame as the book is an eye opener

    Wish I could attend but life has got in the way. I will try to read the book as I love Mark Thomas on the radio. Hopefully can join the next meeting!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
