Making Software Delivery Predictable

  • Oct 15, 2014 · 6:30 PM

Following on from last month's talk on estimation, this month we'll be looking at the factors that determine the accuracy of your estimates once the work starts - Estimates vs Actuals.

In this session we will explore common causes of variation that jeopardize your original estimates allowing you to manage and reduce common sources of variation. By reducing variation you improve predictability. By improving predictability you improve planning accuracy. By improving planning you make managing expectations easier.

This workshop will be facilitated by @IanCarrollUK - http://iancarroll.com

On the 3rd Wednesday of each month we gather at MadLab Manchester to discuss all things Lean, Agile, and Kanban.

The #hashtag for this group is #LAManc

Pizza, beer, and refreshments will be provided by BJSS.

It wasn't. It's Federation House, one of the old Co-op buildings on Danzig street.
