Join us for a sneak preview of Dan's presentation he'll be giving at next month's Lean Startup Conference on Startup time management & decision making.

Risk, Information, Time & Money

Working at a startup, you're constantly facing a subtle, tricky choice: of all the INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT things you should be working on RIGHT NOW...

  • which ones are you going to actually do?
  • Which ones will move the business forward?
  • How should you spend your next hour?
  • Your next day?

You and your team will make a thousand such decisions -- the ultimate success or failure of your venture is largely determined by the sum total of those choices.

Starting from these questions, this talk will explore the principles underlying the Lean Startup, enabling you and your team to determine the best way to spend your time, in each moment.

Note: In an attempt to respond to conflicting feedback, we're going to experiment with dueling agendas from 6:30 - 7 PM:

  • Networking & pizza, for those inclined, will be in the kitchen area
  • Early Bird presentation, a brief "Getting Started w/Lean" discussion, will be in our meetup room.

We'll start the main presentation at 7:00 sharp, so don't be late!

Oh wow, definitely new and interesting, maybe not for my liking, but hey, each to their own.

Super! The speaker spoke really fast, but he was definitely very knowledgeable and well read on the topic. The attendees were also really welcoming and fun to talk to.

Will this presentation be software focused or more general. No disrespect to the software/web/app people, but I want to make sure the info is truly applicable to a hardware-based venture such as mine.
