Thanks to John and Matthew for putting it together. I would agree with other comments about the crowd and the noise, it was almost impossible to have a discussion. Build, measure, learn....maybe next time limit the size.
This is one of the few groups I really learn a lot at their events, so I'm looking forward to getting into some great case studies and other methods for really understanding and implementing Lean Startups at future events.
This was my first Lean Startup event, and I thought it was excellent. The energy in the room was great and I really enjoyed meeting so many people with good ideas. See you all at the next one!
Interesting mix of people but way too noisy and crowded. Ratio of entrepreneurs:people selling services significantly higher than at other events of that kind.
Wait a minute. The party was in a room? I told the front door guy I'm here for Lean Into Spring party and he made me wait in line to go upstairs because the seating capacity was only 100 people. And then when I did get up there there were only 5 people for the Lean Startup Circle event. Missed you Andreas.
The people I did get a chance to meet were very interesting but the venue was way too small for the crowd and way too noisy to engage people in conversation comfortably. I was also disappointed that that it wasn't the roof top deck as advertised, given the lack of space and fresh air in the dark room where the meeting ended up being held. Too many networking events take place in environments that are not conducive to conversation, somewhat squandering the real potential of the event.
Based on the comments posted, I don't feel sorry for missing this event for a client meeting in Boston.
Better luck next time.
This event was wonderful and I really enjoyed meeting the people behind some fascinating new startups. For those of you I didn't get to meet, I'd love to connect. I'm a reporter at Mass High Tech, looking for some new companies to write about. Email me at lcornell@masshightech.com to chat.
I thought the event was fabulous. Who complains about great company, free food, free drinks along with some interesting conversations? Take what ya get, people! Thanks to the great sponsors - Matt & John, it was a great event.
My sentiments exactly Marie. You have to know how to handle a crowd. Pick your spot (near the food or the bar), say hello and meet new people. I'm grateful you all put the effort into this meeting.
Shoot! Great company, free food AND free drinks? I really really really wish the front door guy had sent me to the right area. Was hoping to meet John and Matt in person finally. Next time I guess. Yaddapalooza was great too!
Generally pretty solid - lots of ppl to network with and fun. A bit noisy and too crowded, but still an awesome opportunity to network.

It was great but whew, I am tired! Who knew so many people would want to talk about robots?
