Would you describe yourself more as a Hacker, Designer, Socialite, all, none?

I would fall into the hacker category. I know how to cut code in several languages and it is what my background is in. I enjoy the business development side of the house more than the code development though.

What are you interested in getting out of the group?

I am interested in seeing how this method is applied in other areas and I am interested in presenting it to the IT community as a means of new product development.

How did you become aware of the lean startup method via Eric Ries, Steve Blank or Ash Maurya? Each provide an additional perspective on the basic method of Build, Measure, Learn..

I have read "The Lean Startup" and I became aware of this methodology just through talking with others and seeing the parallels between it and software development methodologies.

I am a student at UofL in my last semester, pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems, with minors in Entreprenuership & Management. I am working a Humana as an IT Project Manager and Scrum Master.
