It was good to get an idea of what Lean means. I would have liked to see start to finish examples though.

More specifically how the lean start-up concept was utilized to get a venture from concept to funding or from concept to testing and maybe a comparison to how long it might have taken using conventional methods compared to how long it would have taken using the lean methodology. Also please take a look at my venture and tell me what you think. http://www.theflowonl....

I'm designing the MVP's for 4 Internet marketplace platforms that I'm developing. My first tech lean startup was in 1982.

Jim, that's pretty impressive! Would you mind to present one of these MVPs at the event? If so, please send to me a direct message with the tittle of the project and a brief description (one sentence it's enough). Thanks!

Hopefully we have more entrepreneurs than consultants in attendance.

Any suggestions for a quick and easy way to get a web site up and running for a new startup?

@Tristan - Nothing fancy at this point. Just a few pages to talk about my business, my background, etc. Would love to hear if you have any other suggestions. Thanks.

If that's all you need just start a wordpress site, use google sites, use a tumbler, use wix.com, just about anything would do.

what does "lean" mean in a service business? I have been involved in the manufacturing side of "lean" and am familiar to systems and processes that promote that. What form would it take in a hospitality type business given the fixed costs are tied to a perishable capacity to serve.

This would be a good question to post on the discussion group at leanstartupcircle.com
