  • Im not sure if Plato was a good screenwriter. Egris got a few things wrong in the Art of Dramatic Writing, however, a good, if not dry 'read'.

  • NDK is the 'Native Development' Kit which is used to compile C++ for the Android platform and allow some level of interoperability with the usual Java API.

  • Hey Donald, Scala is a 'functional' programming language that runs on the JVM (Java Virtual Machine). It actually is both functional and 'object oriented.' One of the benefits of functional language is that it tends to work with 'immutable' data types, which, since there's less need to keep track of data 'state', it lends itself well to handling 'concurrency' issues in today's distributed, parallel, clustered, and multi-cored environments. That's my take... cheers.

  • Thank you for joining Donald. I look forward to getting to know everyone at a future date. I am currently in contact with the people behind Default: The Student Loan Debt Documentary http://www.defaultmovie.com/ and Occupy Student Debt to join our innovators group as well.

As a parent myself I see the problem that lies ahead with tuition and have student loan debt in the tens of thousands myself. I am excited to meet you and begin discussing a solution.
