Thanks Petri for excellent comments. It's an exciting topic, but also extensive. 3 h workshops are also a challenging concept to nail. As organisers we learned a lot and we now know better how to plan, market and position our offering. Let's keep an active dialogue and make this into something truly valuable for entrepreneurs. I feel this was a very early stage custdev excercise and next step (with more time) would have been to go to canvases. We learned that talking to humans is hard!

Thnx for organizing! Parts OK, but on such an exciting topic we could have gotten more out of it. To me, the following focus & flow would have been delicious: 1) example business model as a basis (on Osterwalder's BMC), 2) (group) identifying hypothesis to be tested + testing methods (incl MVPs) 3) short “persona” & interview exercise 4) returning to the business idea & considering potential pivots based on the simulated learning. (Yesterday item 3 was overemphasized) This would have given the bunch a pretty good practical basis for building & running their own tests on their idea’s hypothesis. If this has been covered in other events already (my first Lean HKI one) & this was just to add some spices to the soup, then it simply was my expectations that were wrong. PS. For the Finnish literate: If of interest, you can find my blogs/book reviews on The Four Steps to the Epiphany & The Lean Startup behind this link:
