Gilad Berenstein from Utrip

Gilad Berenstein

After completing his education at the University of Washington, Gilad was determined to spend some time traveling abroad and selected Europe for its rich culture and deep historical tradition. The trip was wonderful. But while traveling Gilad continually encountered many of the challenges and obstacles faced by modern travelers. Undiscouraged, Gilad decided to create Utrip with the goal of eliminating all the obstacles that get in the way of having a great trip. He is now excited to give every traveler the opportunity to discover the world!

His education and work experience extend to the fields of entrepreneurship and business strategy, click here to see his LinkedIn profile.

Gilad will be speaking about his transition from a Big Four consultant to an European traveler to launching an innovative technology startup, with an emphasis on lessons learned along the way. He will focus on:

  • Turning an idea into a plan
  • Building the right team
  • Fundraising
  • Growing pains

About Utrip

Utrip.com is an online platform that helps travelers plan their dream adventures to their favorite destinations. At Utrip we understand that it can be an overwhelming and tedious process to plan a trip for many people, and that time could be otherwise spent actually having adventures.

We are a team of passionate travelers who love technology and adventures. We play matchmaker between the traveler’s interests and our firsthand knowledge of their favorite destination(s). Through our combined years of travel experience, our team has spent close to a lifetime planning trips. We know that people travel to have truly authentic experience. We hope that Utrip will inspire you to get onto a plane that is headed somewhere incredible.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
