Longtime freelancer (~10 years) in perl, php, java, etc. I'm on the database and programming end, with some music skills mixed in. I'm looking to get involved in building some new stuff that I have ownership stake in.

Describe your Lean Startup. (If you don't have one yet, care to share details about your Dream Startup?)

No startup yet. Dream startup: I'm ready to move on from the mindset of enabling people to merely "share". I'd rather be involved in something that enables people to "do". I have a variety of ideas along these lines, but the first and smallest one is a site in the creative writing space.

What is the best tool/technology/service to make your startup more efficient?

I use a variety of tools from IntelliJ to Selenium to Sequel Pro to Flying Logic, but I probably make my most effective decisions with the help of an empty TextEdit window!

I hope you can come sometime. We have a lot of interesting people in our group. I would love to play the Smetana work. We have all 9 Beethoven Symphonies, and other works. Hope to see you soon.
