Introduction

I'm a young professional working in the video game industry. I don't find the 9-5 career path at all interesting and I'm now determined to create something of my own.

Describe your Lean Startup. (If you don't have one yet, care to share details about your Dream Startup?)

I don't currently have a business or startup. I'm heavily influenced by people like Tim Ferris and Chris Guillebeau. Initially, I would like to create a business that ultimately generates income while requiring minimal supervision from myself. I'm passionate about health and fitness, and the majority of my product/service ideas so far revolve around improving people's lives from this standpoint. If and when I reach the goal of being able to quite my day job and support myself purely from my business, I will consider either expanding the initial venture or creating a new business that is larger in scope. I would love to one day create a recognized brand with a full product / service lineup!

What is the best tool/technology/service to make your startup more efficient?

All things web-based. Using web tools to verify that there is a sufficient enough market for my product before investing money into development. Using a website as the the primary hub of distribution for my product. Leveraging outsourced workers for things ranging from website design, product label and logo design, customer service, etc.
