My name is Richard Goers, I am about to launch a start-up [third] in the next 3 months - web based - global scale in financial services [not as interesting as social media] but will have a profound impact on the market space as totally distruptive

read copious materials about lean start-ups and how and why start-up business fail - the most recent American research based around 3,500 start-ups, and having previously started two stratups along the standard processes in 2001 - 2004 Costs are lower, therefore new and current competitors can adapt faster = retail on-line market V brick and their response - it just makes sense commercially but need to get my head around not building a you beaute model with all the bells and whistles but have some 70% of what you think is required, build fast and lean, generate revenue, adapt the prroduct to the current market needs = get survival revenue and then progress the built to market needs still think there are flaws in the approach and want to learn where I may be wrong
I am interested in working in a group that looks to contribute through action in helping start-ups succeed, as well as living the program in my current start-up = so to contribute and the learn I also want to explore the concept of adaptive feedback loops within the organsisation to continually adapt to the changes occuring in the product market place after launch - for cutting edge technology businesses [at least until exit] we need to adapt by nature - how do we do this and how do we learn - how do we ask customers, how do we change our business models - in essence, how do we adapt and stay at the cutting edge when I think we can never attain equilibrium in satisfying clients through a product/ service
I am at the point where I will commercialise stage1 of my start-up in Q1 2012 - having developed stage1 software - looking now at stage2 and stage3 programs in a program suggesting a lean start-up philosophy = so pilot to launch
