3:05 - 3:10 - Attendee Introductions

3:40 - 3:45 - One Minute Pitches from Attendees

For (target customer), who has (customer need), (product name) is a (market category) that (key benefit). Unlike (competing product), (product name) (unique differentiator).
At the end, mention where you are in the startup process (idea, post launch, mature) and what you need - (developers, testers, customers, marketing support, etc)

3:45 - 4:15 - Group Activity -  Different every month - TBA

We split up into groups of 4-6 and work together on a lean startup related activity.

4:15 - 4:20 - Feedback on group activity

4:20 - 4:30 - Wrap-up and prize drawing

4:30 - 5:00 - Socialize / Continue group activity

The monthly meeting kicks off with a short talk from a guest speaker, Paul Kloster, founder of PEK financial consulting.

Next we will have a series of 1-minute pitches from attendees. Be sure to mention where you are in the startup process and what you need.

For the group activity, attendees organize into teams, and works on a lean startup related activity. The activity is different every month.

The Lean Startup activity will help promotes a problem-centric approach to business ideation. By continuously validating and invalidating assumptions, teams are forced to pivot their solution (and even problem) toward a true customer pain rather than creating a solution and after-the-fact seeking customers with a problem.

Is anybody from this group signed up for Startup Weekend? If not, you should do it. We can talk about it today if you want as several of us have participated in the past.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
