This group provides learning, support, and discussion around identifying and launching profitable businesses, by starting small and scaling up. Join us as we learn how to apply the Lean Startup process pioneered by Eric Ries. We're currently following Steve Blank's Stanford Lean Launchpad course for guidance and inspiration.
Every startup is a human institution designed to deliver a new product under conditions of extreme uncertainty. The goal of a lean startup is to identify, with as little wasted effort as possible, where its vision intersects with what reality can accommodate. It tries out new ideas with a small group of customers in order to prioritize using facts, not opinions. Its unit of progress is that of validated learning about its customers.
Everyone is encouraged to join. While our discussion tends towards software based products, the lean startup principals can be applied to non-technical products and we're excited to have you. This group has no market focus or member limitations.
