Shared Understanding is the currency of Lean UX. As it turns out, shared understanding is also the "currency" for how communities are planned and developed.
Come join us as Andrea Nelson and Abby Monroe help us kick-off a new Lean UX SF initiative to identify and solve a significant civic issue. Abby and Andrea are both planners and facilitators who help government entities engage local communities in the policy and decision-making process. This initiative is spurred by the folks at Prismatic, who will join us in a charrette geared toward learning the tools for participatory design and collaborative problem-solving. Abby and Andrea will set the context for an example problem and guide our inquiry throughout the evening.
Come and check out Hot Studio’s space and join us for a night of creativity and learning. Tasty food and beverages provided by Carbon Five!
I loved the presentation and the activity. Is there anyway we can get a copy of the slides from Abby and Andrea?

Has it/the talks officially started? Running late from work and not sure what the schedule is!

This might be of interest to the awesome people of this Meetup group: an O'Reilly webcast on Lean UX with Jeff Gothelf, next Wednesday (http://oreillynet.com/pub/e/262...
). It's not a replacement for this Meetup, of course.
