Using wearable air pollution sensors to map real-time urban air quality

Air. It's essential for terrestrial life. And yet, our densely populated urban areas spew hazardous compounds into our air every day. The thesis for this evening is that if we can measure and map our air quality—in real-time and with better accuracy—we will be empowered to improve our air quality. Join Shaun Houlihan, a mechanical design engineer, in a conversation about mobile/wearable air pollution sensors and air quality mapping. Then, we will do a charrette focused on the application of this emerging technology.

Join us for an evening of creativity and learning! Food and beverages provided.

I would love to attend, but I have a prior commitment (very nearby, same naybo). Could I pop in at Thoughtworks for the last half hour?

This sounds so cool! I wish I had known about it earlier. I can't go on Wednesday, but if something like this happens again in the future, I'd love to attend.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
