hear about lean in the enterprise at Netcetera with Wemlin

Our next meeting will focus on a topic Eric Ries has said he wanted to spend more time on in his book and something I think many of us are interested in.

Kate Rageth (@katering) will talk to us about her product, Wemlin, and how they used core lean techniques such as MVP along with approaches such as business model generation to launch the next version.

We'll also have a lightning talk from Karem re Business model generation/awareness training, as well as our usual MVP talks, to include one from Scrum guru Peter Stevens and Roksana on her MVP / business thesis.

630-7 Meet / greet

7 - 720 Intro (Stephen), Lean overview (TBC), Business model generation / Awareness training (Karem)

720 - 800 Lean in the enterprise (Kate)

800 - 830 MVP Talks (Peter / Roksana)

830 - 900 Networking

900 - Close / Migrate to another venue

Get in touch if you want to present your own MVP and get free, objective and constructive feedback on your current MVP from a group of lean-minded people!

Thanks as always to our sponsors, Panter AG (@panterch) and Co-Lab Zurich (@CoLabZurich), for the space and refreshments!

Thanks for all the feedback in last week's pitch session and in the follow up emails. All of it has been immensily helpful. In the meantime, I have created a survey to use with pet owners based in Switzerland to start getting some customer insights. If you are a pet owner yourself or know of someone who is, I would appreciate if you could forward this link to the survey. It should't take longer than 2-3 mins to complete. Pet owner survey

Looking forward to the next Lean startup meeting!

I liked the talk and I like hearing about the approach. One confirmation that an new, formalized approach is a good one is that we recognize the patterns in work we have already done. I saw Lean Startup patterns in Wemlin

The Wemln presentation was not really on topic, but I was glad to attend the event

Cool place, thank you sponsors and organisers :-)
Very interesting MVPs, mostly good pitches. But too mutch advice was geeky, just too technical. The feedback was not focused on the idea or the the business.
The main presentation was, let's say not so lean-started-up :-)
I would love to hear from successful startups that have applied the framework mostly by the book, that have combined it with other topics (customer dev, agile, ...) and that were able to grow a sustainable business, not only a cool 'product'.
    See you next time :-)
