How did you hear about DCLSC?

I received a recommendation to join from another member, Jeff Butler, who is Privia Health's CEO and a serial entrepreneur.

What do you hope to get from -- and/or give to -- DCLSC?

I'm a devout believer in the lean startup model, and active follower of Venture Hacks, Steve Blank, and Eric Ries, among others. I hope to meet others who share this philosophy and, perhaps, develop connections that lead into working relationships in the future. I also personally just enjoy being ingrained in the startup culture.

What is your specialty (or specialties) with respect to start-ups?

More of the jack-of-all-trades type of team member, but if I had to name a few specialities: operations, product development, marketing, finance. I'm also heavily involved in the health care space, which is an explosive field (as anyone who reads the news knows), especially in DC.

I manage the corporate operations and product development at Privia Health (m), a growing startup that's attempting to transform patients' relationships with their doctors.
