How did you hear about DCLSC?

Through another group

What do you hope to get from -- and/or give to -- DCLSC?

I just want to connect with those that have a passion for change and innovation and I hope to learn something along the way from others.

What is your specialty (or specialties) with respect to start-ups?

My business plan is simple, build a comprehensive learning network that can address the needs of all levels of education and educational attainment. Think of students' life and what she/he goes through, both in and out of the classroom, throughout their life. It is a process that very few understand and one that provides a plethora of options but very little in the way of a comprehensive location for all things education. I have built the plan, implemented a number of pieces that have, and will continue to make revenue, and now need partners with enough technical knowledge, self-discipline, passion, and innovation to make all the other pieces fall into place. I have established relationships with a multitude of investors, agencies, and organizations that are ready to climb aboard once the train has left the tracks. If you want to be a part of an education movement and are passionate about connecting learners and teachers, then this might just be the future you've been looking for!

I recently relocated to DC after a life spent in the West, am now employed with George Washington University in the field of market statistics and student population management. I have over 12 years of education experience; learning is my passion.

What Brandon B. is saying about this Meetup Group

I was impressed by the number of business entrepreneurs; in fact, I would say that more technical people would make the venture that much more successful.
